Indian cricketer Amit Mishra has been summoned by Bengaluru police for allegedly assaulting a woman in a hotel room.

The incident allegedly took place in the month of September and the complaint was registered in Ashok Nagar Police Station, Bengaluru.

Mishra has played 29 ODIs and 15 test matches. He has an impressive average of 24.22 with an economy of 4.56 and a strike rate of 31.8 in ODIS. Recently questions were raised for dropping him in the on going series.
