The Muslim teenager Ahmed Mohamed, who was arrested from school for bringing a homemade clock to show to his teacher, visited the White House on Monday, October 20. He was personally invited by President Barack Obama a month ago on Twitter.
Ahmed who according to his tweet, couldn’t wait to take the clock to White House , left his clock at home as reported by The Guardian .

“We have to watch for and cultivate and encourage those glimmers of curiosity and possibility, not suppress them, not squelch them. Not only are the young people’s futures at stake, but our own is at stake,” said Obama at the event.
The 14-year-old also toured the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s labs before heading to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, as reported by the Associated Press .
The Huffington Post reported that Ahmed has decided to withdraw from the high school. Presently, attending Google Science Fair, which saved a seat for Ahmed and travelling to Mecca are on his to-do list.
