Former president and Bharat Ratna recipient APJ Abdul Kalam died on Monday after collapsing during a lecture in Shillong. The Centre has declared a national mourning of seven days in memory of Kalam throughout the country. Parliament will adjourn on Tuesday after paying homage to the visionary.
