Celebrating his 80th birthday today, Woody Allen – the American actor, comedian, filmmaker and playwright – is known for his odd shelved wit and slightly left of centre sense of humour.

Born Allan Stewart Konigsberg, Allen’s career spans over 50 years, and if you have experienced any of his work you’d figure that Allen’s work straddles the line between love and hate, and study and ignorance. But, we digress.
