Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has made it to the cover of a special edition of Time magazine after she was included in the magazine’s list of the 100 Most Influential People. And understandably, she’s pretty pleased about it.
“What a way to start the day,” Priyanka tweeted.
Thank U @time for including me in such an illustrious list of achievers. #Gobsmacked to have made the cut! #Time100 https://t.co/wc9KhrLEVJ

Let’s just take stock she was the first Indian actress to get a leading role in an international TV show, Quantico, and she didn’t just stop there. She also won the People’s Choice Award for the Best Actress for the show too. She’s also starring in the upcoming Baywatch film.
This is what her Baywatch co-star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson had to say about her:
“It’s an amazing time to watch as she pierces the US market. She has an ability to inspire people to do more and achieve more. When I look at her success from the 50,000 feet view and see everything that Priyanka has already done, is currently doing and has the desire and the bandwidth to do, I can see that her impact is going to be invaluable”
He also said that he felt lucky to be working with Chopra in the upcoming film.
Apart from Chopra, the other Indians on the included in the list were tennis player Sania Mirza, Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, and Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan.
